
Vice President, Clinical Operations & Quality
Lisa Barrett is the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Quality at Teladoc Health Canada, responsible for delivering high-quality virtual care that supports better access, outcomes, and experiences for Canadians. In this role, she leads clinical operations and quality initiatives across Teladoc Health’s virtual care programs, working closely with clinical teams, physician leaders, and key stakeholders to optimize care delivery, strengthen workflows, and uphold high standards of patient care.
Lisa brings more than 35 years of clinical and progressive healthcare leadership experience across complex health systems, including virtual care, emergency medicine, inpatient care, primary care, addiction and mental health, and rural health services. Prior to joining Teladoc Health, she held senior leadership roles with Alberta Health Services, where she led large multidisciplinary teams, supported patient flow and emergency medicine initiatives, and advanced service delivery across rural, regional, and Indigenous healthcare settings.
Throughout her career, Lisa has led major clinical transformation initiatives, including the rollout of virtual emergency, inpatient, and primary care programs across multiple provinces. She has championed the integration of telehealth solutions, developed quality improvement programs, and built strong partnerships with health authorities and local healthcare providers to support accessible, patient-centred care.
Lisa holds a Master of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and nursing credentials from MacEwan University and the Alberta Hospital Ponoka School of Psychiatric Nursing.
