A practicing Emergency Physician and former Emergency Medicine Clinical Lead for Ontario Health (West), Dr. Ferguson brings extensive leadership experience across hospital, regional, and system levels. As Chief of Staff at Guelph General Hospital, he led professional staff governance, advanced quality initiatives, and strengthened physician engagement while shaping clinical strategy in a complex care environment.

With more than 15 years of clinical experience, he is recognized for bridging frontline realities with executive decision-making, translating complex priorities into practical, high-impact solutions that improve outcomes for both patients and providers.
